Privacy Policy
What data Step Tracker accesses
With your permission, Step Tracker reads your step count from Apple Health (HealthKit). It uses this data only to display your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly step totals inside the app. Step Tracker requests read-only access — it never writes data to Apple Health.
What we collect
Nothing. Step Tracker does not collect personal information, analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, or usage data. There is no account to create. There is no sign-in.
What we transmit
Nothing. Step Tracker has no servers, no APIs it talks to, and no third-party SDKs. The app does not connect to the internet for any data-handling purpose. Your step data stays in Apple Health on your device, where Apple manages it under their own privacy policies.
What we share
Nothing. Because no data leaves your iPhone, there is no data for us to share, sell, rent, or disclose to anyone — including advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, governments, or other third parties.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Step Tracker schedules local notifications on your iPhone. These notifications are generated and delivered by iOS on your device. They do not pass through any server operated by Breezeway Labs.
Children's privacy
Step Tracker does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, contact us at the email below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be reflected in App Store release notes when relevant.
